Simply put, Assisted Living improves quality of life.  Often times a person will choose to move into Assisted Living because of declining health .  It has been determined that it is no longer safe to reside at home, yet the skilled care provided in a nursing home is not needed.  At The Lamoine, we will be fully staffed to provide many aspects of nursing care.  Our certified staff will include a Registered Nurse, LPN’s for medication administration, and C.N.A’s for personal assistance.  Our goal is your good health and happiness.

We also know that loneliness and isolation is very real for aging adults and can lead to poor health.   The Lamoine will host a variety of activities each day to keep one busy!  We will celebrate our weekends, and invite our family and friends to join us!   We have two floors of community space.  The lobby features a grand player piano, grand fireplace with library seating, and our 40’s style diner.  We will watch movies in our private movie theatre in the basement.  Not in the mood for a movie?  How about a game of pool in the great room?  I could go on and on, but I’ll save some more of our amenities for another blog!
