Hello!

This is Kelly Shiraki, Director for Memory Care Services posting my first blog entry.  I have been with The Lamoine for three weeks and have to tell you I am very excited to be here. The construction is moving along swiftly and I can’t wait until we are ready to start moving your loved ones into their new homes. There will be a lot to do at The Lamoine and around the square because is such a perfect location for all the music festivals, brown bag lunches, art festival, parades and of course the farmers market.

Speaking of the farmers market – did you know yesterday was the first day? It was great to see familiar faces and meet new vendors. The vegetables looked perfect but it is not just veggies – you can also get flowers, honey, handmade wooden pens, and custom signs. The vendors had many questions about The Lamoine and we plan to stop by each week to keep them informed of our progress.

We are out and about a lot so please let us know you are coming to visit us at the trailer behind the Lamoine before setting out. If the OPEN sign is on  – we are in.
